Aziborne Extreme

Aziborne Extreme is a radical sports event with the Azibo reservoir and the Bornes mountain as a background. The event's graphic image refers to the radical sports imaginary, both in the typographic approach, with a raw character connected to these kinds of activities, and in the graphic approach, with interpretations of the different types of trails.

The graphic identity highlights the letters "BO", the contact point between the names of the two places. Simultaneously to this highlight in the logotype, the connections between the several types of trails are also worked graphically, being represented by different types of lines, connected between themselves. Starting from the main principles which guide this graphic identity, studium established a graphic language that unfolds into several communication media, always guaranteeing clear identification paired with different graphic approaches, depending on the medium used. This versatility is based on the number of elements which constitute the graphic language, like the typographic texture, the pattern, the figuration (the composition with several types of lines) and the gradient, which, in itself, is used in two ways: either as a graphic element on its own or as a tool for the photographic art direction, acting as a color filter. It's an identity deeply rooted in the project's concept, communicating the difficulties of the track through sophisticated graphic strategies.
