The project consists of creating the art direction and visual identity for CIISDS (Centro Interdisciplinar Integrado de Simulação e Digitalização em Saúde/Integrated Interdisciplinary Centre for Simulation and Digitalisation in Health), and its implementation in the centre’s signage (a dedicated space within Escola Superior de Saúde). The centre’s visual identity reflects the faculty’s innovative and progressive approach, equipping its students with the skills and experiences essential to their academic and professional development.
The project’s name is Centro Interdisciplinar Integrado de Simulação e Digitalização em Saúde (Integrated Interdisciplinary Centre for Simulation and Digitalisation in Healthcare), abbreviated to CIISDS, with the full name provided to supplement the existing information.
The proposal distinguishes the letters “CII” from the letters “SDS”. The double “S” found in E2S (Escola Superior de Saúde) and in CIISDS is used to create a parallel between the entities, establishing common visual points of contact.
The two text blocks, “CII” and “SDS”, have different graphic treatments representing the dichotomy between teaching and learning: highly precise, high-definition elements (CII – representing teaching) and elements under construction, in the process of definition and refinement (SDS – representing learning).
