Designed as practical object for the pilgrims going to Santiago de Compostela, this leaflet provides both touristic and practical information for those who chose the portuguese coastal way.
Matosinhos is one of the most referenced cities of the atlantic coastal route thanks to its ancient and religious patrimony and heritage. This project consists on designing a leaflet with touristic information which also serves as a protective pocket for the pilgrim’s passport, a document which must be stamped in every stage of the way. The leaflet has a double function simply provided by its folding and hanging system; it is possible to use it as an open informative poster and also as a pocket to keep the pilgrim passport safe; the lanyard hooked in the pocket provides a closing system to the leaflet. Furthermore, the chosen paper for the leaflet has a special waterproof finishing, making the leaflet a versatile and durable object, aiding the pilgrim in every step of the journey.
