SAMS, the Medical-Social Assistance Service of SBN, plays an essential role in northern Portugal by providing an exclusive network of clinical centers, offering services focused on the well-being of beneficiaries and their families. Currently, the organization is focused on modernization through digital tools such as a mobile app and digital kiosks, aiming to enhance the patient experience with efficient check-in processes.
The development project of the SAMS SBN digital kiosks aims to enhance the beneficiaries experience. With a vertical Full HD screen of 32 inches and dimensions of 739.5 x 434 x 61 mm, the design focuses on direct communication and accessibility. The adaptation to the target audience, particularly users over 50 years old, and consideration for people with reduced mobility are essential elements in the project's development.
The kiosk is divided into three main screens: Home Page, Access to Private Area, and Private Area. The kiosk's structure includes campaigns and notices, access to check-in, payments, attendance declaration, and instructional modals that guide users towards actions, enhancing their experience.
