Bolhão store

Architectural project developed for the new Oliva brand shop in the centre of Porto, in the Bolhão market. This commercial space is dedicated to the sensory aspect of selling olive oil, through tastings and personalised service, curated by its specialist.

This project has three floors, ensuring the brand's communication and commercialisation needs. Each one is associated with the respective moment and type of visit to the shop: Consumption, Experience and Operation.

The matter that consumes time can be imagined, kept and displayed, by itself, as if it were a reliquary value(...)

The ground floor is for the commercial area and the presentation of olive oil and its derivatives. The mezzanine floor, which is orientated towards product tasting sessions, has a flexible space, with support from a pantry for cooking and preparing the tasting, and an audiovisual projection system. Finally, the first floor has a toilet and areas reserved for staff and operations.
